Uses less power and is more efficient than the standard spiral. Be sure to get the right flange if you have a kwikot or heat tech geysers and you must also get the the stainless steel sensor. Love it. Great speed and service delivery.

The auto function enables the light to self-adjust the illumination during the dark hours and the brightness is still very good at 5am just before the sun comes up.
