The GeyserWise 1500W PTC AC Element marks a significant advancement in geyser heating technology. Crafted from stainless steel for durability, this immersion heater element transcends traditional resistance-wire heaters by incorporating Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) chips as its core heating source, setting a new standard in safety and functionality.Unlike conventional heating elements that rely on resistance wire and operate at high internal temperatures often exceeding 500ºC, the GeyserWise PTC element utilizes ceramic PTC chips. These chips are engineered to self-regulate their temperature, significantly reducing the risk of overheating. As the temperature increases, the PTC chips naturally decrease their heat output, preventing the element from exceeding its optimal surface temperature of 240±10ºC.
This innovative design not only extends the lifespan of the element by preventing damage from scale buildup or operation in air (a common issue when water levels drop), but it also offers enhanced safety. Traditional resistance wire elements can rapidly reach dangerous temperatures, posing a risk to surrounding materials; the GeyserWise PTC element, by contrast, maintains a safe operating temperature, ensuring the integrity of your geyser and associated plumbing.

Perfect fit on my Kwikot geyser with the 5 hole geyserwise flange & gasket. Start up takes 2.3kw and after a few seconds it only uses 1.65kw.
