It does what I expected it to do being able to link it to home assistant.
I bought this to replace my ageing Full gauge controller. The Geyserwise is just so much more intuitive and user-friendly to operate. I wanted this model because I have many other smart devices running on the Tuya App, and I was not disappointed! The added flexibility of having App control is well worth it. My existing controller worked through a 'power relay box' as my control and power circuits are separate, because we have an inverter. I was able to easily interface the Geyserwise to the relay box and keep the circuits separated. One suggestion for improvement here would be to enable power and control circuit separation on the main PCB, using links that could be removed by the installer. Given that so many houses have backup power these days, this would be a good option. Another nice feature would be to have a history in the App, so one could look back in time and see when the pump switched on, the geyser and collector temperatures, etc. Otherwise I'm totally stoked. Local is lekker!
