The module works exactly as advertised, in fact is has a build in time delay for the switch over. You can enable or disable the time delay however you desire.
HOWEVER the instructions to program are useless and a complete waist of time, I probably should have rated it a 3 star based on the incorrect instruction on the website. I wasted more than a day in total trying to figure out the programming, I even looked up the module on Mantech's website and I couldn't get it to work at all.

Operating Instructions:
+ key: press once to display the protection value, long press to set the protection value
– key: press once to display the hysteresis value, long press to set the hysteresis value

Double-click the + number button, then press + or - button, set the stop voltage value
Double click on the – number button, then press + or - button, set the hysteresis voltage value
Long press the + number button, then press + or - button, to calibrate the input voltage display value
Long press the - number button, then press + or - button, set the latency start value T. At the time of when the output voltage reaches the start value, after the delay T, there is a voltage output, the delay time is 0 ~ 10 minutes, the display category is: 000 or 001 or 005 or 010
Click the + number button to view the stop voltage value
Click the - number button to view the hysteresis voltage value
