Pleated cartridges maximize the square meterage of the filter. The larger the surface area, the more dirt particles it can filter out. Its larger filtration area allows the water to progress through the cartridge and remove smaller particles. This will save pool owners money by not constantly removing water and pool chemicals.
Cartridge refills are the easiest to maintain and clean. When the cartridges are dirty or the pressure in your filter rises, it is time to clean them. Depending on the water chemistry and season, most pool owners clean their cartridges every 2 ? 4 weeks. Cleaning is as easy as using a garden hose to rinse them off or letting it dry and brush with a soft bristle brush.
Existing pool owners can expect the filter to last a year, depending on your water chemistry, bather load and it will not last as long with excessive amounts of suntan lotion, deodorants, hair-care products, and other chemicals.
New pool owners will need to replace the cartridge after 3 months.
It?s always recommended that you keep 2 replacement cartridges, so that there is no interruption of your swimming pool water filtration when you remove one to clean it.
I bought three of these lights and so far, they have delivered beyond my expectations. The auto function enables the light to self-adjust the illumination during the dark hours and the brightness is still very good at 5am just before the sun comes up. Real value for money and I'll be purchasing again.
Excellent product. Easy digital display. The function to change the switch on bar above the normal 3 bar of other makes is very useful.
