Pleated cartridges maximize the square meterage of the filter. The larger the surface area, the more dirt particles it can filter out. Its larger filtration area allows the water to progress through the cartridge and remove smaller particles. This will save pool owners money by not constantly removing water and pool chemicals.
Cartridge refills are the easiest to maintain and clean. When the cartridges are dirty or the pressure in your filter rises, it is time to clean them. Depending on the water chemistry and season, most pool owners clean their cartridges every 2 ? 4 weeks. The previous lamp from Livestainable lasted 30 months with 17 hours On/7 hours Off per day. Easy bulb replacement for whole-house water sterilisation & filtration system (also bought from Livestainable).
ALWAYS remember to wipe the tube off with alcohol swab before installing to prevent premature lamp failure and never look into the powered lamp as severe eye damage will occur. Insert fully into steriliser before switching on.
