A DIP switch is available to select the optimum charge/float voltages for Flooded Lead-acid, Gel or AGM batteries. I installed all the filters, including the membrane .After the replacements I tested the water and a must say these do work ,kettle is clean from scale build up as my town water is hard water (has lime scale build up), the water also taste good too, I will buy these again in the future
