Must have for rain-water harvesting

The product is made from durable plastic. The fine mesh will keep small debris from getting into my tanks. Easy to install and easy to clean. Better priced similar products, and works well.

Quite good but pipe fitting could be better

This leaf catcher works well and is easy to install. Its only problem is the 80mm socket that attaches to the downpipe. It is just too wide to fit inside an 80mm pipe and too narrow to fit a socket well. I used the latter with lots of glue and I did get it right, but tighter manufacturing tolerances would have helped. Also note that this product appears to be made from polypropylene or polyethylene and not PVC, which means that standard PVC glue (what you would use for downspouts, waste pipes and the like) doesn't work with it. Otherwise... recommended!
