The manual makes it easy to setup correctly. It has essentially 4 ON times that can be set if needed, default was fine for me. Monitoring temperature via the smart app is handy from anywhere on my property. Happy about my purchase!
This 18A charger has no noticeable impact on my bakkie's standard alternator. 18A obviously charges slower than the 30A unit, but it still gets the job done if you drive long enough. It is bigger in real life than what I expected - so check the measurements. Works great and very customizable when it comes to charging voltages. I used 10mm2 wire on a 7m cable length from the main battery (while they recommend 16mm2) and I don't have any issues with it incorrectly measuring the vehicle's battery voltage. I even forget that it is in the bakkie and charging my Lithium battery.
Used to charge a 100ah lithium battery (probably should've got a slighly higher amp rating to speed things up), love the reporting / stats on victron connect app and the idea that you can customised charge settings (if you know what you are doing).

Still early days but so far so good. Like the full functionality of the geyser wise functions. Handy to start the element remotely. Only down side is the schedules setup through the unit itself does not reflect on the app and visa versa. This is easily overcome by only using the app for schedules. Using HA is even better! Bought this to add my geysers to home assistant and with some research online could integrate my geysers fully with HA. I would recommend this product especially if you want to do some fun automations for cost saving purposes.
