Die galvaniese isolator voorkom elektrolitiese korrosie. Dit blokkeer lae spanning GS strome wat jou boot binnekom via die walkrag aarddraad. Hierdie strome kan korrosie aan die boot se onderwater metale veroorsaak, soos die romp, skroef, as, ensovoorts. Die galvaniese isolator bestaan intern uit twee diodes wat op anti-parallelle wyse verbind is. Wanneer hulle op hierdie manier verbind word, laat die diodes stroom in beide rigtings toe maar net bo 'n sekere drempelspanning. Die spanning waarteen diodes gelei is ongeveer 1,4 Vdc.
Die isolator word direk agter jou boot se 230V-aansluiting geïnstalleer. Die voorwaartse spanning vanaf die galvaniese isolator is hoër as die potensiaalverskil tussen metale. As gevolg hiervan sal hierdie spanning nie geleiding toelaat nie en as sodanig sal die galvaniese isolator enige elektrolitiese stroom verhoed. As daar egter 'n (hoër) foutspanning in die WS-kring is, sal die diodes stroom deurlaat en die resstroomtoestel sal die stroombaan breek.

Its great, our dogs love it. I suggest you highlight that the filter needs to be changes around every two weeks and you offer addition filters to be purchased. After reading the instructions I realized I needed to buy additional filters which I bought from Takealot.

The product was difficult to find but they found it. Then there was the reluctance to pay over so much money without seeing the product. After a google search I took a chance. It was delived without any problems. I can highly recommend this company to do business with and I will certainly do so in the future.
Very good quality and well constructed. Everything works as expected, just the float level may make you overwater. Great Led lights with a good timer. The supplied Basil Pods are performing strangely. One has germanated till the cover, the 2nd one starting to show green and the 3rd one is yet to react.
Geyserwise gives you 4 predefined time blocks (00h-06h-12h-18h) where you can preset the temperature, and then you can set it on and off on your own schedule.
With the SmartLife app, you can actually set the block temperature too, so it gives you much greater control.
I have a schedule to say "at 12h, if it's sunny in JHB, set the temp to 60 and switch on"
