The Compound Should Be Used On A Sisal Buff Or Stitched Buff. A White Stitched Buff Is Ideal For Cutting Into Metals. With The Correct Compound It Will Remove Stretcher Strains, Orange Peel,Polishing Wheel Grit Lines, Light Die Marks Etc.
Different Metals Have Varying Characteristics. To Achieve The Best Possible Result, The Correct Compound And Polishing Buff Must Be Selected For The Job.
Intallation was straight forward once you understand what all needs to be in the initial kit (element, thermostat pocket, kwikot flange). I opted to use a seperate compatible thermostat to connect the system to my existing CBI Geyser controller. From cold it heated up in about 2.5 hours and happpily runs through my inverter on solar during the day.
